I come from a bit of Medical family so my interest probably comes from them...as well as friends in the field and studied it somewhat even though I'm not in the field. I know an Endocrinologist as well so we "talk" about what I've read and heard. I've been around some college athletes as well that had to go through testing. As well as "possibly" knowing people that use. But there are people that know a lot more than me. Athletes and Trainers out there can break it all down. Specifically in certain sports. Crazy. Shady. The knowledge is out there. In books, on the internet...but the best knowledge will be asking certain people. It's also one of the reasons I held back judgment on Ariza and his Team. Some people just labeled him dirty while I give credit to advancements made in modern Science/Nutrition/Training. There is so much out there that can help the modern athlete do it through "legal" means. However, since athletes and trainers have history of lying especially when they see there is room to get away with it....so you also have to keep your eyes and ears open and don't be naive. So my opinion, I like him and Pac so I hope not. Which is why I always say I wish they would just take the tests and shut Floyd up. ___
Yes they have a limited time to practice there trade but they know the rules and using banned substances to win a fight and potentially harm another fighter deserves a long suspension. I think berto's case is different because it looks like it was a case of contamination.
Slap on the wrist was aimed at Berto's situation....he said Peterson's situation deserves only a fine. I actually agree with him. Only because I really don't think those men are cheats.
