Yes very true. He has figured Pacquiao in the end part plus he has youth. He can do adjustments more. That's a fact. As for Pacquiao, he cannot adjust at this point of his career. He was more than just a tad slower too. The Cotto version of Pacquiao would have steam-rolled this young Bradley. But this is Bradley's time. And we all have to admit that Bradley performed much better than Marquez did against Pacquiao. He was man enough to mix it up in some moments. Fact
Did any of you guys concentrate on Freddie whilst Michael Buffer was introducing Manny as 'undefeated for the past 8 years' and then the camera panned to Freddie who looked like he was crying and then Ariza comforted him by squeezing his shoulder. Did they know that they were coming in to lose (wwf style)? Cos I think Bradley doesn't deserve the SD win. At the most if I'm being generous i give only 2 rounds to Timmy. Who want's to see Timmy fight? Everyone was boo-ing him. He's no PPV star. He even said to Bob after the fight "I went over to Bradley before the decision and he said, 'I tried hard but I couldn't beat the guy.'" And then there's Manny who say's in the post fight presser; "Whatever happens, don't be discouraged about boxing,". "Next time." All of us on here may make fun of Manny but we don't hate him. He's even humble in defeat. Even this Pacquiao who's past his peak gave a very tough fight. Rewind 3 years and Manny would have KO'd Bradley in the 5th round when he was wobbeled and was on ***** street. No one's interested in a rematch; Bob and the judges screw fans once more. I don't really like titles being exchanged via SD.... not cool.
Pac has been defeated. So if he leaves what? Arum just ruined his negotiations with Mayweather. 50/50? No chance in hell! Bradley has just signed on AND become a household name. The gravy train is on a new track. Arum is sitting pretty. Pacfraud is in on it if he doesn't challenge this.
But Bradley will never be a star, this is different. When it happened in the past people were about to become huge, Bradley just isn't that dude. I see no benefit of this other than avoiding Mayweather.
That's a ****ing big "other than". Bradley was exciting and put on a spirited effort, but still needed a kickstart toward stardom. Even if he loses the rematch (don't be 100% sure) he'll remain a name Top Rank can build on, plus Bob will earn shitloads of money in November. So does this really hurt hurt Pac's money making power? The demand for the rematch is huge, so no. This all makes perfect sense promotionally. That's how boxing rolls unfortunately.
It is but they've been avoiding Floyd for years without pulling **** like this, it's a bit drastic just to avoid Floyd. They could just keep saying Floyd wants too much money. Bradley will never do PPV numbers as the main guy and I'm a fan of Bradley. Will the rematch do big numbers? Or will everyone think **** buying that bull****? Will casuals buy Pacquiao's future fights when he has a recent loss? It was obvious why they let Pacquiao win vs Marquez in November but with this it's not as obvious.
Are you serious? Bradley and his camp have absolutely NO leverage whatsoever on the disgraceful decision last night. However Bob Arum has astronomical leverage and has been fixing fights for almost a half century. Why would Bob Arum fix this fight you ask? The bottom line is this. Bob Arum DOES NOT WANT PEDUIAO TO FIGHT MAYWEATHER. PERIOD! Peduiao is Bob Arum's #1 all time money machine. Do you honestly believe Arum wants to put an end to his personal ATM with a knock out loss to Mayweather? Arum is pulling out all the stops to stall any possible fight with Mayweather. In the meantime Bradley and Peduiao will haggle back and forth about a rematch for the remainder of the year (only six months left on the calendar). If, and it's a big if, Mayweather and Peduiao do get in the ring it certainly won't be in 2012. So you see, we'll have more endless drama of Mayweather vs Peduiao. You can thank Bob Arum for this grand ruse.
Nah I'm not having the mayweather excuse, they've avoided him for years. They didn't need to do this.
Bradley hurt his ankle in the 4th, he was getting sparked up to that point and he didnt break it, if he had a broken foot, he wouldnt have been able to fight lol
