Arum Pushes Gamboa-Juanma Back Another Year!

**** bob Arum, he is a crap human being and bad for boxing, I will celebrate his death.

 

And yes Gamboa is mentioned, in the same sentence as Juanma, I think that should answer you doubts, about any Cuban becaming a main stream draw, bonos.

All three can sell at least small PPVs and Cotto is probably the most popular fighter after the big two.

Gamboa isn't even at the point that he could headline a small PPV...but anyway he has HBO money now and if they make Gamboa-John I will be very pleased.

I hope the Cuban fanbase is big/will get bigger, it would be really good for boxing. If promoters actually bothered to promote properly to the Cuban base in the US it would bring about a new audience but instead they go to a crappy casino in front of 1k people (Gamboa-Salido) in Vegas rather then Miami.

I will also say that Gamboa seems to be much more willing to fight the best, unlike Juanma who got punked bad by Caba...and that recent loss doesn't change the ducking.
