Arum Reserved November 13 for Pacquiao - Floyd. Floyd ran away.

Yes. I'm saying that, in an effort to be proactive and make the fight, I have absolutely no problem with Arum announcing that Pac has a date and place reserved for Mayweather.

 

Typical ******* move.

 

Let's extend that scenario a little further to parrallel the current circumstance then.

Let's say two weeks before a Floyd fight, Leonard Ellerbe announces that a Mayweather-Pacquiao fight will never happen because Pac is afraid of Mayweather's right hand and he knows he'd be KO'ed in four rounds. Then a week later, Arum announced to the media that he has reserved a date and venue for Floyd to accept and that he'll be fighting on that date and place, with or without Floyd.


That wouldn't be unfair to Floyd because just a week earlier, his camp claimed that Pacquiao would never fight him. For Ellerbe to then claim that "well I don't know if we like that time or date" or state that "that isn't the way to negotiate a fight" would make me say that Ellerbe is full of ****.

You can't call someone a coward and claim that they will never fight your fighter, then play the victim role after Floyd sets aside a date and place.

I don't think either fighter is scared of one another, but there is one thing I do know...Bob Arum is usually full of ****.

 

Cool story. You and your brethren trying to desperately spin this into something it is not is comedy gold.

It's always wrong to say you're fighing an opponent that's fighting someone else in a week without consulting him. It seems like a mental game Floyd is playing to distract Pacquiao from Marquez so that he can lose and Floyd can say he's the best. I'd say the same thing if Arum set up a date for Pacquiao to fight Floyd a week before any of Floyd's fights.

 

It is at the point it needs to happen soon. We don't need a superfight happening when both are shot like Tyson-Lewis, It shouldn't be this way, Would the legends do this? Doubt it. Manny and Floyd wanna be ATG's with legacies? A warrior would fight, stop ducking and just fight, It needs to happen. Or in my book you both loose by default.

 

Bob Arum would jump off the top of the MGM if that happened.

floyd answered this on his racist-rant UStream video. floyd said he has no urge to fight during that time and he needs a vacation. the answer comes from floyd's own mouth.

 

And you're taking Arum's word. can't you tell that his dumbass doesn't want the fight. That was everybody's reaction when they first read his response

I didn't have a problem with it really. The time made sense for both fighters and MGM would have been ok with Floyd. The Countdown clock was BS though when they didn't even come to an agreement though

And find me a quote that says they'll do the same exact testing as Ortiz and Mosley because I never saw that

Floyd didn't say he's fighting Pac. he said he's fighting next May and is looking to pursue a fight with him
