Destroyed my ass, nobody has done what he just did. JMM? Soto? Anybody in the lower divisions want to fight the Cottos, Margaritos, Hattons, Dela Hoyas and Clotteys of the world and dominate them? Anybody?

What I do wonder is why doesn't Lou try to go after Mayweather since he doesn't seem to want to fight Pacquiao??.. and after all, Floyd did say that he might fight the winner of Martinez-Williams.

The truth hurts. I would say 154 has to be the weight if Sergio wants to take Manny's belt. He's got to get into the weight range at least right?

    Well said.

To get to the true greatness of Pac's accomplishments he should be compared to his contempararies, MAB, Morales, JMM.

These guys all maxxed out at 130-135, still being able to be competitive against the best. Pac is even smaller than them.

Think about those guys destroying top 140-147 contenders?

    Impossible.

    That's what Pac has done.

Now that people are now calling for him to fight the middleweight champion shows what a freak he is

I think in this case it's not just Martinez's size that concerns Arum. I don't see how 155 is a problem when 147.5-154 is the superwelterweight limit and Pacman was fighting a 160lbs Margarito. I think Arum knows Martinez won't be a punching bag like Margarito was. Pacman has a big heart and probably would want to fight it's Arum that wants to milk his cashcow as long as possible.

can someone explain why martinez would be too big when pacman came in at 144 for the catchweight at 150? why not 154-155 if pacman can go in lower?

Pacquiao said he's good for 3 more years, but I think he should stop fighting guys that outweighs him by 17+ lbs or he might retire early.

Pacquiao's fighting weight is 148 lbs max on fight night, looking at Sergio Martinez's fight night weight last time, it's 168 lbs. and to surpass what Pac did, martinez should be fighting the light heavyweight champs of the world! Now, let's see him do it.

and to those bashing Pac, let their boys do the same, too. and then we'll see.

these guys dominated the divisions they where in. Pac beat them past their prime and got schooled by marquez twice. pac skipped fighters at LW and LWW, bar 2, and jumped up to fight damaged punchbags who are on the comeback after their careers hit the dirt!! :deal

Pac's weight jumping spoiled everybody in ESB!!!!

If he does not go higher up to the heavyweights, posters accuse him of ducking fights.

He should have stayed at 140.
