He'd still be the betting favourite or at least should be IMO.

Is that Bradleys plan is i,t get a better resume to claim he's better without having to actually fight him?

I doubt that. Oddsmakers will go with the undefeated guy with a better level of comp who has never been kayoed in less then a minute and was out on his feet in his last fight. Especially if Bradley puts in a great performance.

Khan has to chase the #1...not the other way around.

Whatever, just know b/c a fighter has a bigger fanbase means nothing in rankings and accomplisments.

I see your points, but I still think Khan'd be betting favourite. Not by much, but I just think he would. Being out on his feet doesn't really mean much to that fight either, considering Bradley apparently hasn't got knockout power, not that the bookies would pick up on anyway.

Bradley's never fought someone like Khan, and I suppose its the other way around too, but I think you'd give the edge to the outside fighter who's very fast and has beaten tricky fighters that way before. Maidana's a different kettle of fish. I could be wrong though, I'm sure we'll find out.

Just know a fighter can't definitively be regarded as the no1 in his weight if theres another guy who would be favoured over him by the majority of people.

Khan looks great from a distance but really has no inside game. That inside defence he showed against Maidana will not work with Bradley.

I can admit that style wise bradley seems right up his ally b/c of height and reach.

majority of his own fans you mean? Look I have no vested interest in either fighter but as a boxing fan I can say the winner of Bradley vs Alexander will be #1 in the Division and should hold 3 world titles. Khan has done nothing to match that.

Oh and oddsmaker favor Floyd over Pac but pac is clearly the Number 1 Welterweight in the world. so you wrong about that one too.

Khan would not have fun if Bradley got inside. He's a handful, and he just doesn't quit. Plus, he has the abilites to get inside. He's not just walking and wading in.

Due to styles, Alexander would give Pac a lot more trouble than Bradley but I think Bradley's gonna beat Alexander.

Unless they look impressive. he will take on the winner and more than likely Alexander since he meets some of the requirements if he loses.

He will have been coming off a loss
He would have had 2 consecutive bad showings.
Does not meet the over 35 club or the brawler no defense style though but hell thats the best he will be able to do.

    My previous post answers this.
Bradley might be considered no.1 but it would be highly debated similar to the Ward/Bute situation.
Khan would be favoured over him.

Exactly. And khan needs to tighten that defence on the inside, letting a guy uppercut you until he gets tired isn't going to work like it did in the Maidana fight. khan also needs a inside punch to keep guys off of him. But it's a testament to his long/ mid range(&match-making) game that he has made it this far with such little inside fighting ability.

Any of these 3 140ers have a decent chance of beating Pac - probably in UD or SD.

That being said Khan has the LEAST likeliness in getting the fight signed.

    1. Roach would drop him for this fight and train Pac. Without Roach, Amir's young ego would take a hit. He knows how much valuable Roach is to his development.

    2. GBP. Khan is GBP. There is nothing more that Arum would like to do than seeing GBP go belly up.

    3. Khan himself said he would never fight Pac in respects to his sparring partner and trainer.

Though both are not TR fighters, Bradley and Alexander are NOT Golden Boy fighters either. So they have better chances than your typical GBP fighter.

    Hopeful....
