Hmmm interesting. Lets see if it happens. I think Donaire wants a bantamweight unification fight first so lets see what develops.

Gamboa won't remain at FW for long so I have suspicions about this fight as a real possibility.

Now this will be an interesting fight, I like Gamboa but he did disappoint me a little in his last fight against Ponce De Leon.

Unfortunately that makes sense, I would love to see him and Rigondeux in the ring and see what he is really capable of doing against a very skilled opponent.

I would like to see Donaire move up and test the waters, not jump right in with the beast two divisions above him.

Either way, entertaining fight for sure but I think Gamboa will be too big for him.

the next best thing if a Pac and Floyd fight doesn't come through imo.

I also want to see Donaire take a few tuneup fights at 126 as well. Gamboa is a beast.

Why do people want Donaire to jump 2 divisions to 126? He still has fights at 118 that are meaningful.

Arum is still pissed at Donaire and wants to make him suffer by throwing him in against Gamboa before his body grows naturally into a similar weight.

Problem is Donaire might actually pull it off.

Noone expected him to beat Darchiniyan either. It was upset of the year when he did. Don't count Donaire out.
