    take the test, boring.....

didnt make anyone test his whole career and then does it for one guy?

    Yea right.

Its sad, because Mayweather is a great fighter and would probably win imo, but wont fight? THey should have done it twice by now, and Floyd could have another 100 million in the bank. Who cares if he loses, its only boxing.

now, are we going to have a adult discussion on this?

Never before testing became an issue with Pacquiao did Mayweather ask an opponent this. I know you are a big Floyd fan but you must admit that he made them take those tests for no other reason than in order to say 'hey look, these guys have no problem testing'.

How come he didnt make Hatton take a test?

How come he didnt make De La Hoya test?

He says he doesnt care about legacy - then make $100 million fighting Pac twice and win lose or draw go off into the sunset and enjoy the rest of your life. As I said, just fight, its only boxing afterall.

Come on man, its boring now. Theres not many fights out there I care about seeing Floyd in (or Pac for that matter) apart from this.

    Khan? Ortiz?

Surely a fan such as yourself hates seeing a great fighter waste these years of his short career? Its like a mid 90s Jordan playing in Spain or something

Why didn't he ask MARQUEZ to take the test? A guy who supposedly beat Pac twice, and had just come off being the guy to give Casamayor and Diaz the first (and to this day ONLY) KOs of their careers?

Neither Arum, Mayweather or Pacquaio really want it, that's how it appears. All Mayweather had to do was accept a 14 day cut off, all Manny had to do was accept testing, all Arum had to do was tell his fighter to accept terms and not pull out of negotiations and sign to fight Clottey/Margarito/Mosley/JMM

If both these guys really are comfortably making anywhere from 20 to 40 million per fight, why risk a string of three or four paydays of that amount with a one-time, high-risk fight that you might get 50 from? Neither guy wants it, at least not bad enough to make it happen. Serious steps toward this fight being made will never happen while both guys are on top and making crazy amounts from lesser opponents. Only when one of them loses or their stock is diminished will you see a greater likelihood of it happening.

It will go down in history as the biggest superfight that never took place.
