Whilst Floyd would probably be ok without Roger (he could even have his Dad train him which is probably the next best option after Roger), i think it is more the mental aspect of it. Roger is his uncle and they are close. Roger could spend a long time in prison. That will effect anyone close to you.

Get real bro... Roger is not only his trainer, he is part of Floyd's family. I'm not trying to cover Floyd's ass, because I personally think he should have said something earlier, but lets be real. Roger and Floyd are more than trainer/fighter and probably more close than the average uncle/nephew. They have been together for years and thru all of Floyd's career. I'm pretty sure that if Roger does time it WILL affect Floyd. He will probably get another trainer, but IMO it would be to early to go into a fight of such a magnitude without Roger in his corner.

 

Atleast he didn't kill that women while you have a picture of a fighter that killed his wife.

 

didn't she throw a lamp and a punch at roger when they were arguing and that what prompted roger to strangle her.

He didn't bring up his uncle because he doesn't want anyone to point fingers at Roger. Besides, having a family member going to court for being suspect of something people consider taboo, beating up a *****, isn't something you openly share with the intrusive media so the rest of the world will know about it.
