Arum says Oscar beef is over, no problems. So WHY is PAC limited to JMM-Alvarado?

They met up at Bobs house, buried their problems, but Manny is fighting the winner of JMM-Alvarado? I think Pac isn't free of criticism here if he wants a better fight he can tell Bob since there is a thaw in the Cold war he wants him to negotiate a fight with a golden boy fighter..

may be true but it's not like oscar does any business anyways..... oscar is just the front man and talks at press conferences. Scheafer is the one doing all the dirty work.

This baffles me, I know a few very wealthy people and the thing they love the most is money. I can't believe they can't put their egos aside and make even more effectivo. It's almost unprecedented in business.

Diplomatically speaking you have to look at the business side of it all this way. While Pac is still on the current side of his contract with Top Rank/Bob Arum there's almost absolutely no unlimited possibilities for him as far as big superfights go. The winner of Marquez-Alvarado, a 50/50 fight at best, and a third fiight with Bradley is all there is for Pac as long as he's signed to Arum.

And the fact that a possible truce between Top Rank and G.B.P. is on the horizon doesn't make Pacquiao's chances of landing a big fight outside of the Top Rank stable that much better. Remember, for those of you who still think that Mayweather is dictating without a reason, when "Money" Mayweather was still with Top Rank back in mid-2006 and following his unpaid superfight with Zab Judah he wanted Bob to negotiate for the big showdown between Delahoya-Mayweather and it was Bob who thumbed it down saying that he, the promoter, wouldn't get much profit from it and when Mayweather came up with a plan-B proposed superfight between himself and the young Miguel Cotto Arum thumbed that down, claiming either that the fight wasn't juicy enough, which it was at the time, or stating the same identical claim that he wouldn't get a finacial profit out of it leaving Floyd in the cold as far as superfights were concerned and that's when Floyd bought himself out of his (2nd) contract with Arum for $750,000, as was implemented by Floyd's manager Al Haymon, and moved on.

The only way for Pac to gaurantee himself a future of big fights, muchless the fight with Floyd next year, is to let his current contract with Arum right out and move on, just like Cotto did in 2011 following Cotto-Margarito2.

Pac wants to fight Marquez rematch and Marquez wants to fight for the title that Pac has to make history...............Void will always run from Pac, he is afraid and there is no other explanation..............
