If both fighters come out unscathed (Margarito wants a tuneup first too if the fight gets made) then not at all. Cotto's fights with Branco and Urkal both were in March and he followed them up with fights in June against Malignaggi and Judah. He also fought Alfonso Gomez three months prior to the first Margarito fight.

most likely will happen, another in-house fight for TR.

There is already an agreement between (Lewkowicz) Martinez manager and Arum (should both of them win), they will fight late next year.

I don't mind this fight and it's a good transition for Cotto in to the Margarito rematch.

A Polish-American version of Kassim Ouma. High work rate and no power.

This is actually a pretty good idea. And if Berto should win (doubt it), he would have proven himself worthy of a Pac fight IMO.

    Martinez is too big...

This is a dangerous fight for Cotto. Not that in the sense that Cotto will lose. But Mayorga is SO DAMN UNPREDICTABLE with nothing really to fight for. There could be a nasty headbutt, a brawl at the press conference which may result in an injury, a pre-fight/post fight brawl that could result in a suspension (ala Floyd/Judah)...he is just too unpredictable. Would have like to have seen Cotto fight Angulo, Cintron, Bundrage hell even Lara. I respect Cotto...I just don't wanna see a future fight with Margarito or Martinez get ruined because of the stupid-ass antics of Mayorga.

I don't see the point of this fight for Cotto to be honest besides maybe financially being able to keep more of the lions share of the pie.....Especially if it's PPV. At least Mayorga will keep it interesting with his antics leading up to the fight. Too bad inside the ring is where it counts and Mayorga isn't any where close to being the fighter he once was.

Oh well at least it'll be good to see Cotto back in the ring to see what Steward and him have been working on.

Its good to see mayorga back actually, but im more worried about how these fights are being made, we got cotto-mayorga now,pac-mosley,then cotto-margarito and if cotto wins we probably get pac cotto 2 in november.
