from the news site of fights, Arum is saying that Shafer unexpectedly pulled out of the Dallas tour trip with Jerry Jones. Arum sounds suddeenly suspicious that something is "fishy" with negotiations and that this fight might not happen. it's Shafer who is not to be trusted. shafer may be the one here who will do the bidding for floyd to duck the fight. shafer may take the blame for the fight getting avoided. You know something is going down when Arum starts crowing like this to the media. it looks like something is up.
Arum is a *****. All we have heard is Arum's side of the story. Why the hell would Scahefer agree to represent Mayweather, and rush to call Arum soon after PAC-COTTO is he wasn't trying to seriuosly get a deal done. Schafere is a business man who like to make money, and there is no money if this fight is not made. Arum will say whatever he can to attack fighters not signed to him and who he doesn't like doing business with. maybe Arum wants the negotiations to fail so he can avoid seeing Pac get his ass kicked.

Bob Arum is one of the biggest liars in the sport. From promising his great undercards to huge stadium fights to fight in Asia somewhere, to whatever else he says. I wouldn't believe anything the man says. This is too big of a fight to not get done.

If in initial negotiations they agreed to look at the venue should have gone through with it. If its all about the money why not go to a bigger venue. Maybe floyd feels vegas will favour him or is another tactic. Again could be Arum wanted it all his way on somethings and floyd isn't having it
