No, I don't live in Saranggani. And if I do, I won't vote for him. My point here is Arum's mantra that makes Filipinos stupid. What makes him think popularity alone can make Pacquaio president of the Philippines. The Filipinos repudiated a popular actor, Fernando Poe, Jr., who was inexperienced like Pacquiao in a presidential election. Many actors/actresses, athletes, etc. lost in recent elections. Arum should not insult Pinoys. Being a foreigner, he has no business interfering in the affairs of the Philippines.

This is the same guy who supposedly didn't even know HIS BUSINESS was being moved from HBO to Showtime. He still has a long way to go.

Didn't the Filipinos vote for Marcos? Didn't the Californians vote in Arnold are Governor and Bush as president and some guy from the WWE as the senator of Montana.

He can do that, if he wants to. I don't think he will win. Filipinos are wise enough to choose who their leader should be. But what pissed me off is Arum's actively foisting Pacquiao on the Filipino people. That's not his business because he's a foreigner.

The last guy you are thinking of is Jesse Ventura. He was a former Navy SEAL who later became a wrestler in the WWF and then became governor of Minnesota.

Your point is well taken though. I would argue that Manny is getting a lot of relevant experience due to the fact that he is not just a boxer, but he pretty much has the duties of a CEO in the management of all his businesses.

It's the people who decides who their leaders should be but Arum should not interfere on who should we vote for.

I have no problem with Manny if he wants to become president but Arum should ****ed off and stop making statements like "our plan is to make Manny president of the Philippines." That's interference in the affairs of another country.

    It's called campaigning.

    Deal with it.

If Pacquiao does decide to run for president.
    Arum will be there.

    So what is your fear?

Are you afraid that if manny were to win he would be controlled and manipulated by arum on how to govern his own people and launder philipino money into his account, maybe something like 29% GDP?

Maybe he fears Pacquiao would be a figurehead under the control of Arum?

it's no different than if someone like Obama hired a Filipino to help him campaign for reelection. No big deal.
