Not if you're a candidate in the upcoming elections. Pac may be a professional boxer but he does have a lot of things going on outside boxing. Not spending the holidays in your district and being unavailable when people ask for you, especially campaign period, will cost you bigtime.

Did you see the article where the president of the phillipines is going to ask the other nominee to step down so pac can get in for sure? There's no need to campaign if the elections rigged

 

Roach also said that Floyd would be the easiest fight at Welterweight. That Floyd was fragile and they would break him down. That Cotto would be like DLH all over again.

Now Floyd is a hard fight and they need extra time. Now Cotto was a grueling win that Pac needs to recover from. If the little dude wants to run for office that's cool, but don't pretend that Roach hasn't fed a constant stream of bull**** regarding the fight with Floyd. As much hay as people here make over Floyd contradicting himself, or having excuses for not fighting, Roach is just as bad. And if the roles were reversed Floyd would get crucified.

Also, I wouldn't expect to see Pac fight again if he really does get elected to office, barring a fight in between the elections and when he actually takes office (not sure how much time there is between the two in the Phillipines). Elected officials generally don't have the time to train for serious boxing matches while doing their job.

Whilst i agree with your point i'd be shocked if floyd fought hatton. I still think the pac fight will be next but if not it is more than likely be mosely as hopkins alluded to at the weekend
