I will agree to the extent that Crawford reminds me of Leonard. I don’t know if he is better but there probably may not be much in it either way. Behind that persona of a highly skilled technical boxer, Bud Crawford is a mean nasty vicious fighter. I mean that as a compliment.

 

Crawford vs Spence Jr may be our Leonard vs Hearns.

 

I think it’s more of a Leonard vs Hagler stylistically. Spence is more like Marvin a stalking hard hitting southpaw who can bang or box, his main weapon being his relentlessness and engine. M Crawford is a techinical genuis using his footwork, timing, counter punching skills to make adjustments in his fights.

 

So it's spence but I believe on a higher level due to size at the weight
