Where do you think they'll fight if they actually do fight? 99.9% sure it's going to be the MGM Grand, and May 5th was the best date this year for a megafight, Mexican fighters or not. You can cling onto that excuse if you want. :thumbsup

straw man argument. That's not at all the point I was making.

Bottom line you don't sign a contract to fight on a Golden Boy card at the MGM grand before even negotiating with PAcquiao if you want to fight him. It doesn't work and the proof is in the pudding.

Promoters scramble every year for the May 5th date . . . Pac V Jmm3 would have happened on that date if Mayweather was behind bars, the MGM is where Pac has fought all his big fights and has had the largest gates in boxing history . . . its basic logic that this was the absolute best date and best location.

I feel sorry for you. You're love for Pac is beyond pathetic, its disturbing, and laughable.

Do you recall GBP attempting to negotiate with Top Rank? What did Arum say, and I quote, " I don't know why Schaffer keeps calling my office....WHo do I have to talk to, to negotiate with Mayweather btw?" :deal :yep

No Top Rank is in the pudding . . . thats the problem. Arum would have made the exact same arrangements if he was serious. Cowboy stadium was a HUGE FLOP . . . why not go with the best date and venue?:think

You're a hypocrit at the highest order. Your nuthugging knows no bounds...Didnt Pac do this exact same **** when he fought Margo in Dallas??? I know you remember the countdown on the TR web site.

So now, its OK for Pac to do it but nobody else cant right?:patsch

Arum did not want Golden Boy to have more control on the highest grossing fight in history than Top Rank... surprise surprise.

Floyd has his own promotional company. Why would he even sign to fight on a Golden Boy card when he's gonna fight a Top Rank fighter? Unless he is under contract with Golden Boy in which case Golden Boy and Top Rank need to come to terms before signing any contract with any venue.

Floyd does not have a stable of fighters and works well with golden boy and PBF and Arum are mortal enemies.

**** control, it don't pay the bills. If the fight made business sense then it should have happened. Best date and best Venue makes sense to me

You're making me point even clearer by saying Pac pulled the same **** as Floyd when he fought Margo in Dallas. You *****s are saying that Floyd doing that shows he wanted to fight Pac... well then going by your logic Pac doing the same thing (as you said) would show he wanted to fight Floyd.

If anyone is a hypocrit of the highest order it's all the *****s.

Check my post history I thought when Pac pulled that move it was ******ed and not a genuine effort to get the fight made. At that time they had just had failed negotations with Floyd and obviously were making other plans that didn't involve him. The countdown was just bull****.

Think about that when you think about Floyd's little move in May which you defined as being the same thing.
