 Glad you caught on to the sarcasm... I'm sure most won't. Lineal champion is the reason I'll go with. :thumbsup

You mean responses like this. :rofl Where's the words bum/shot? This proved they did **** recently but deserved a fight with Pac, yet Berto's undefeated fast ass and JMM's stylistic matchup with Pac, AND recent wins mean they have to face each other to face Pac. But my logic is ****ed right? :nut

What's even more funny is out of all that, the things picked out the posts is I'm calling them bums/shot instead of realizing NONE of them came off good wins recently.

C'mon now, with your post history, sarcasm from you looks pretty legit to me. :D

Hate to say, lineal doesn't mean anything today. ****, most of the divisions lose lineage here or there. And if linear was so important to Mayweather, don't you think he would have fought Hatton for HIS linear belt rather then @ WW where Hatton was much less effeective?

Today, with 4-5 champs per division, with politics and high purses getting guys shots or maybe more deserving fightres, linear is just another title in the division.

Yeah, but it's a double edge sword. As much as I am against having 4-5 guys parading as champs in a division, having that belt still helps them with TVV dates. Margarito could have dropped his WBO belt, something I thought he should have done sooner, but that wouldn't guarnatee him a fight with anyone else, since guys drop belts all the time.

Lineal doesn't mean **** when you have mu****as jumping divisions taking the easiest title fight for their first bout in that weight and everyone praising the accomplishment like he's walking on water. :good

Mayweather won't go down to 140 for a fight, simple. He proved that with the JMM fight. Pac went down to 140 to fight Hatton because he can make 140 with no problem. I mean he has to eat 7000 calories to stay at 147.... Or is it he can't go down to 140 now because he's now a WW? Or is he a small WW that can't fight anyone else at 154 because they are too big? Nevermind, that's not the point.

You just tried to say Linear is the best. And yes, I know what you are doing. But pick a stance and hold it FFS.

Dude, I was talking about when he faced Hatton, as I clearly stated.

I really do hope Bob Arum dies soon. He's shitting all over the sport, how ****ing ****ish of him. "Beat Berto and you'll get Pac", as if Marquez has to ****ing earn a rubber match against the guy many thought he beat twice.

The fight gets signed the first two times no problem, then all of a sudden Pac starts going up in weight and fighting guys who are strangely also in Bob Arum's promotion. He's a big wet ****ing fanny. Wants nothing but more gold to count before he croaks.

I still hold value in linear, I'm saying it doesn't mean **** to most because most allow and praise Pac for jumping through divisions beating the weakest champion on his first bout at that weight.

Floyd clearly won't go down to 140 anymore. He proved that when he wouldn't come in at 144 for the JMM bout. He's at 147 or higher. That's why he didn't go for Ricky's linear title. :thumbsup

And? Why do you worry so much about what some are going to think of Pac? He hasn't done anything others have done already. Name ONE person who only fought the World Champ with each move in a division. You won't find anyone who fits that bill.

Dude...AGAIN, I was talking about when he faced Hatton. WHich was BEFORE he faced JMM.

    Ain't that the truth!

    :rofl

How can you *******s defend this guy? He wants JMM to fight a qualifier but Mosley gets a **** no problem huh? Let me remind you what Arum said about Mosley.

    Where was Mosley's eliminator?

Hatton won two fights before fighting Pac and was linear 140lb champ? Cotto and Clottey were top 5 WW when they fought Pac. They didn't look impressive against each other, but that's only because they are fighting the best. So what's your problem with them? Who was a better fight for Pac when he fought Cotto? Who was a better option for Pac when he fought Clottey (Mosley was already scheduled to fight Berto at the time)? Pac's WW resume is better than Floyd's despite the fact that he has been there a fraction of the time Floyd has....FACT!!!

Who has Berto fought that makes you think he is ready for Pac? This guy gets rocked by a lot less fighters than Pac. I bet you that if Pac were to fight Berto and dismantles him, you will be calling Berto an over-rated bum after. Please bro, I already know how idiot *****s like you think. :verysad

JMM is that man. He faced MAB in his first fight at 130 and he was the lineal champ there.
at 135 he faced Casamayor who was the lineal champ there.
at 147 he faced PBF who although not the lineal champ he pretty much stakes the claim to it after he beat JMM.

I only give him credit for the first 2 but PBF did turn out to be the closest to lineal at 147.

:huh You told me linear doesn't mean **** anymore. I explained why I think it doesn't to most. What's that got to do with what others think about Pac? Him being allowed and praised for what he continually does is my reasoning for why people don't care about linear, not an attack on Pac's rep or what people think about him. That's for another day, another thread. :thumbsup Also, I didn't say anyone only fought the world champ each division move. But mu****as didn't go pick out the weakest champion in each division just to collect belts.

And AGAIN Floyd clearly won't go down to 140. He PROVED it when he wouldn't come down for JMM after. He's been fighting at WW or higher for what 5 years now? It's obvious he aint going back down, that's why he didn't go for Hatton's linear title.

I'm aware of what I said. It was you who first mentioned Floyd going for the linear. What I simply did was bring up Floyd fighting a guy at 147 when, if LINEAR is so important, why he didn't take that route.

And I know you didn't say anyone only fought world champes with each division move. But you were talking about Pac doing thag like it was something awful. If Pac is doing what basically every other boxer who has lived and been in his sitatuon has done, what's the problem?

Jesus christs!! How many times do I need to tell you, I was talkking about Hatton vs. Floyd when they FIRST FOUGHT. I am not suggesting Floyd move down to 140 now and face Hatton. For ****'s sake, if you cannot follow a simple sentance, what's the point of continuing any discussion with you?
