And Spence as A-Side says "yeah, against people nobody knows or cares about". I'm sorry, I don't see the problem here. Sounds like the real issue is Crawford not accept B-Side status. Spence can demand whatever money he wants, he's the unified champion. Don't like it? Fight Porter. Hall of FAME doesn't feed your kids.
I’m amazed at how much these trained fighters whine and complain like dramatic emo sixteen year olds over social media. B.S. like this been going on so damn long it is no wonder garbage like YouTube boxing and Tyson Jones exhibitions are out selling championship fights.
What exactly is ESjr's convincing argument he's the A-side on this? Lets be honest, NEITHER guy has much leverage against the other to pull this "I'm the A side" garbage. These two are becoming a joke. Should be 50-50. And TC is correct about Spence. Only way he gets to the HOF today is buying a ticket.
Spence has 2 belts and all of his (3) PPV have done over 300k while Crawford has 1 belt and has had 2 PPV which has done 100k on 1 PPV and 60K on his other. Not to mention Spence has sold out in Texas in the 3 times he's fought there while Crawford has only sold out 2 times out of the 6 times he's fought in Nebraska. Boxing is a business...we are getting punched in the head, they are.
Those numbers are hardly big enough to keep this fight stalling. Very few people still know who either guy is.
I'm just going to assume it was some sort of Dallas country slang because if it wasn't, IF IT WASN'T....as much of a fan I am of his, his next fight should be with a book!!
Besides garcia both Spence fights did sub 250k. Spence has been helped with having the competition put Crawford vs Garcia on it would sell similar number. Maybe not quite as high but not far off. Both guys need the fight to having a legacy. They are both hitting the age where they will miss the boat. Neither guy makes over $10m without each other I can see 55-45 to Spence in order to make this happen. in my opinion the way to do it would be to bet on yourself and go 60-40 to the winner.
Spence wants 60/40 for the fight...once Crawford agrees to that, I think that everyone will work itself out.
I don't even think they make 10 mill WITH each other. Not with those numbers. 55-45 sounds good. But truth is, they will let ego ruin this and I HOPE both falter after that.
There is no history of neither Garcia doing PPV numbers as well as Porter but Spence has fought on PPV 3 times and his numbers don't lie. The PPVs success is due to him. Other than that, I agree with you on the 55-45 with the 60-40 going to the winner in the rematch...either way, Spence should get the lion share in the first fight, not Crawford.
