It better not conflict with Jake Paul-Mike Tyson match, which of course, is a more compelling, probably more exciting, more
historic fight. Plus it's in Dallas and I already have tickets.

would loma have beat tank 5 years ago? most likely. but tank was still learning his craft, still developing. peak vs peak was never going to happen, no sense in pretending one would be a sure thing on an even playing field. this is as close as it will get. loma is still operating at a high level, and has an advantage in experience and more tools. but tanks fewer tools are more fight changing at this point.
    still a great fight.

Is he going to duck both him and Shakur? If he's not going to fight at least one of them, he might as well retire.

If Lomachenko can't get motivated for a Tank fight — the absolute biggest fight out there for him and a genuine superfight — then it's time to retire.

Coppinger has just reported that the fight is now completely off because Loma doesn’t want to fight again in 2024.

If that’s the case then I doubt this fight will ever happen. It’s in Loma’s best interest to fight Tank asap because he’s already past-prime. Every month that passes, Father Time catches up and his chance of winning diminishes.

My thoughts exactly. If you can’t motivate yourself for the biggest PPV draw south of 168 lbs (Canelo), you won’t be able to motivate yourself to get in the ring again. Time to vacate the IBF and leave it to those who can motivate themselves.

Well that’s disappointing… Has Loma finally lost his drive for the sport? He might as well retire if he doesn’t have that desire to keep fighting anymore. The longer he waits out the slimmer his chances are against Tank, if they ever do fight at all.

I mean, Tank reigns supreme in this but yeah, Loma doing it now isn't it.

Good for Loma. He calls the shots. Screw Tank the cherry picker.

Sounds like Loma just wants to chill with the family until December, we’ll see how he feels at that point

Guy has had hundreds of fights in his career over decades. If he wants time with his family in the twilight of his career then it is his choice. He has earned it and these guys like tank have been avoiding him for years so no, they don't get to call the shots, Loma does.
