Margarito vs Martinez II sounds like a pretty good fight. That's how we know Bob Arum will never let it happen.

Anyway, Cotto gave Arum the go ahead to start negotiating against Martinez earlier this year, and this was for his middleweight belt. Cotto wanted a simple straight money deal for Martinez, so's to maximise what he would get being the draw. Martinez would not agree to that and doing it without DiBella co-promoting, and there was more money on offer for the Margarito fight so that's why it didn't happen. Cotto is as true a warrior going around today. Martinez is the pathetic one chasing Cotto and other smaller guys from 160.

 

Interesting to see how Arum will market that fight with Margaret coming off 3 brutal losses!!!
