He did say that, but Pac's people also said they never agreed to full random testing, which Floyd said was a requirement to make the fight happen.

So if they did not agree (which they did not) there is no fight.

 

there is not a fight anyways since floyd was on vacation. which is better to make a fight, negotiating or not negotiating? floyd could have addressed that point in the negotiations but he just said he has no urge to fight.

my bad. but my point is he is fighting GBP fighters exclusively since baldomir. some are still saying he is not with GBP today so technically, it's not in-house.

Arum said Pac will never fight a Goldenboy fighter. Floyd works with Goldenboy.

Arum has never once gone to Floyd about fighting ANY of his fighters after Floyd left. No Cotto or Clottey fight was EVER offered.

Or do you believe it is Floyd who must go after those guys, despite the fact that Floyd is the WAY,WAY above them on the totem poll?

even if what koncz have said to be true, there are negotiations to sort this out. also, why didn't floyd even mentioned it when he goes on vacation? floyd could have said: "i'm taking a vacation because pac only agreed to 7 days cut-off and i already said before that there would be no cut-off."

he just stated that he has no urge to fight and his fans are just trying to connect the dots and giving a him a valid reason for taking off.

also do you believe ellerbe and schaefer when they said that there was no 2nd negotiations?

 

except that pac has fought GBP fighters. the last one was as recenlty as 2009 when he fought hatton. also pac fought mosley and jmm who are both free-agents and are former GBP fighters.

when has floyd last fought a non-GBP fighter? if you are accusing arum of keeping pac in-house to protect him, what can you say about floyd fighting GBP fighters since 2006? arum has known to risk pacquiao more than GBP is risking floyd or you can say floyd risking himself fighting other fighters not from GBP.

 

Greenburg didn't take sides on that one. Greenburg's statement was a response to what Team Floyd said about no negotiations ever happened. Greenburg was compelled to come out and state that there was a negotiation and he was mediating it

 

Greenburg and Arum may have talked about the fight, but "negotiations" weren't necessary until testing was agreed upon. All other details were previously agreed to, from PBF's perspective if it's not 100% random testing, there was nothing to talk about, regardless of discussions between Arum and Greenburg.

If he already stated that there would be no fight if there was a testing cutoff (multiple times), why would he say it AGAIN??

 

so how do you explain Floyd's behavior denying that a negotiation took place when in fact it did. Must've been very frustrating for the parties especially for the HBO president who spent time as mediator.
