Arum "We never heard anything from eddie for 1 week!"

I'm going to go out and celebrate when this fight falls through. Eddie H leading the garden gnomes up the path, only for the bomb squad to shatter them into millions of pieces. It will be interesting to see the mass hysteria in this place, when the **** hit the fans. This will be the equivalent of Bowe and Lewis 1994. Somebody will lose, and then it's back to square one, once again!

 

Like I said in another thread, IF this falls through now the danger is that Hearn's created a situation where both fighters will price themselves out of reasonable offers and deals to do the fight elsewhere, because Hearn's been throwing out figures that might have completely skewed expectations.

Hopefully it will be made and finalized now. But we've been saying this for a couple of months now.

 

This is an exact replay of the situation when he told us the Wilder - AJ fight was on.

He even flew Wilder over and did some pre-promotion.

Then the same thing happened.

He sends a non binding contract over, promising to send the final one over.

Then radio silence.

Then we get an announcement that AJ is fighting another 40 year old instead on PPV.

Hearn looks to be utterly inept at making the big HW fights happen.
