Arum - 'We're STILL working on Loma vs Rigo, have to sort out Money on both sides'

Team Rigo will demand a disproportionate cut of the purse thus killing the fight.

 

If someone is going to get extra, surely it should be Rigo for having a size disadvantage?

Its nit like either if them are big time draws yet

 

I find it really annoying when people argue over 'the split' they are getting. They should be concerned with the absolute figure they receive and not give a **** about what the other guy gets. Will Rigo enjoy his new Porche less because Loma could afford a Ferrari?

I think these guys need each other. Rigo is dropping off the boxing radar and should take a smaller wage because he badly needs the exposure, if he wins it's huge for him. Even taking less than Lomachenko he will still receive a lot so what's the problem? I think Loma runs the risk of following Rigo's path as despite his connections, Arum will have to pay huge money to get the other title holders in the ring with him and will find it difficult to make a return on his investment.

 

Normally I'd even say Rigo deserves more but in reality he's just a complete non-draw.

 

If Rigo's style is boring, what is Lomo"s?
