Nah, apparently it was an agreement to fight but not the actual contract. An agreement to agree to fight lol. They have to sign an actual contract with MGM in order to print tickets, proceed with all the logistics. lol, that means that there is no venue to host the fight atm.
Koncz confirmed that they are trying to change the terms and they blame haymow. I wouldn't be surprised at all if Haymon/Ellerbe are trying to change terms, in collusion with MGM grand. I just find it unbelievable that Arum and Koncz would be making this up, for what? Hyping fight? yeah right... some say it's Arum trying to change terms himself but come on, he's been very vocal about how tired he is about being asked about this fight, he just wants it over with. Arum is s shrewd, tough business man and one think that will get him agitated is someone else trying to screw him on a deal. Arum and Pac have conceded on MANY things, Hayom can;t be trying to get away with even more now, they should be fair. Arum's way of handling this is taking it public, Ellerbe is now under attack.
So Floyd's camp has made the perfect excuse to pull out by changing the terms? Well I'm not surprised a bit. These guys are really thugs and unprofessional.
Looks like the bickering is over seating http://espn.go.com/boxing/story/_/id/12736671/floyd-mayweather-manny-pacquiao-contract-not-signed
I think fight time is near and reality is setting in that this is the end for Manny. And all of a sudden, no fight ? LOL... This ain't about tkts. Why Ol Uncle Bob give up 65M + because Money stealing 5.5 outta the gate ? Really?
I did but I heard it all started with the seating .Personally if this does end up getting canceled i would be shocked over this stupid ****
Promo for the fight maybe? Creating a,sense of urgency and uncertainty creates a demand. It's not likely Floyd would be dumb enough to change a legal contract ahead of an event of this magnitude. there's far too much money at risk for there to be something like this to be real. My guess is everyone needs to relax and get ready for May 2
So you're going to believe Mr "Yesterday I was lying, today I'm telling the truth"? Arum is a habitual LIAR. Anything that comes out of his mouth is to be taken with a grain of salt. Looks to me like Arum is unhappy with the terms that BOTH sides agreed to and now is trying to use scare tactics to force more favorable terms. I hope CBS/HBO/TMT/etc threaten to sue the dog **** out of him for breach of contract...
