Exactly. I'm ok with him facing those guys on the list, but if he is going to go up against those guys then I think he should fight more often. What if he only fought two times per year against guys like that? Yikes. But i guess he can take a little step down in competition after miranda, taylor I and taylor II

Abraham and Wright are the only two fights that excite me. Otherwise, I'm cool with him taking a softer touch in a fight closer to home.

arum has stated that he would like pavlik to fight about 4 times a year. he thinks that will keep him comfortable with weight

I have not see Lorenzo fight, Strum should be a test and an easier fight than Taylor or Miranda, Kid has been in tough

Sturm has shown no interest in facing Pavlik. But if Pavlik beats Randy Griffin ( who drew a draw with Sturm ) then perhaps he can get in line to be Sturm's mandatory.

Abraham seems quite willing to face Pavlik. But that fight would happen in the fall not by June. They'll want to build up to it. And I can't fault Arum for wanting an interim fight between Taylor and Abraham.

I think Arum is afraid that Winky would be a boring win for Pavlik. He might be right.

Andy Lee is barely ranked. Can he please fight someone (anyone) within the top ten of any of the belts before demanding a fight with the Belt Champion?

Duddy's stock dropped after his "poor showing" win. Are his fans really ready for him to be sacrificed? Zertuche didn't fight for a year after he was taken by ambulance from his fight with Pavlik. And when he did come back he was a shot fighter who was easily stopped by Rubio.

I don't know much about Lorenzo but isn't he a mandatory to one of Pavlik's titles? He'll have to face him eventually and he's undefeated so he might be the leading candidate. Rubio and Griffin really have little chance against Pavlik. Atleast a Rubio match might be fun for a few rounds. I can't comment much on Lorenzo but Griffin and Rubio would both beat Duddy for what its worth.

Winky and Abraham are the only real threats to Pavlik at the moment, but he's earned a soft touch after facing tough competition over his last 4 fights. But after this payday fight lets hope its Pavlik vs Winky or Abraham.

Arum is pissed at Winky for turning Pavlik down when he was on his way up, and then basically demanding a fight now that Kelly is the champ. Plus Winky really should fight a tune-up before he tries Pavlik on for size. Abraham needs exposure here in the states so they can turn the unification into the kind of mega-fight event it should be. According to Box Rec Abraham is scheduled for a June 7th fight at Madison Square Garden. So Pavlik and Abraham are both scheduled for the garden on that date against opponents TBA. This will all be carefully planned out so both guys come off looking like monsters.
