Does it hurt his sales via pac in the long run? His last fight in Texas exposed lots of people to boxing again, but that fight was a ****ing disgrace to the sport. If I was just getting into boxing The Uneventful Event would have turned me off from it, and make me go back to UFC.

If he rematches Margarito I can't see any true boxing fans being willing to support a certified fraud and a potential one. The Texans and casual fans are disappointed by what happened last time.

There's also talk of a rematch with Cotto which wasn't close in any way. Steward even stated that we shouldn't expect any drastic changes to Cotto, so while I want to hope Cotto comes back in all his glory, it's not realistic. No one hates Cotto, so I don't see anyone shelling out another $50 just to see him suffer.

is he actually taking a fight with margarito serious? maybe if cotto won the light middlweight title and pac wanted to go for an 8th it could be a chance for cotto to redeem himself in a weight were pac really shouldnt be at

  3. Welterweight, realistically, is a weight where pac really shouldn't be at.

**** Arum.He already mentioned once that he knows what the public wants and they can go **** themselves.he said that in regards to Gamboa/Caballero i believe. I'm sure all the negotiations and **** weren't hampered at all by his bull****,greedy ****ing efforts.

if he fights cotto at 150 it will really make him look like a fraud, chasing accolades in matches where rules were bent to his favor, but even more ridiculous

is the fact he asked for a catch weight the first time around

if he can fight at 150, did he really need a cw @ 145?

i think it's just arum trying to gain an edge in a possible pac/floyd negotiation

A Margarito fight at 147 wouldn't be terrible... but it's kind of ******ed. He's a punching bag for people like Pac and Mosley.

But a catchweight fight for a title shouldn't even be possible, imo.

Either way it's like now or never for the Pac-May fight and if either guy fights anyone else it'll be kind of lackluster.

Only way Arum should be able to sell a fight between either Margarito/Cotto Vs. Pacquaio would be IF.... (IMO)

#1. Both Margarito/Cotto have to WIN their next fights.
    #2. Rematch Margarito/Cotto @ 154lbs.
#3. Then (Pac) Fight the winner of #2

Arum knows that the day Pac steps into the ring with Floyd, is the day he gets schooled badly.

bro you gotta be realistic.I don't give a **** about an 8th title,I don't think anyone is going to break 7.

And without Mayweather, there are no bigger things for Manny to go on to.He needs to fight Mayweather.I'm saying this as the biggest Pacquiao fan on my ship.He and Mayweather need to fight, and Bob Arum needs to stop ****ing this up for the fans.

What a foolish thing to say. Floyd is clearly still a huge PPV draw! Say whatever you want about Mosley, Floyd put on a masterclass. At this point, Arum is just making excuses. Especially if Nevada conducts the tests and they don't go along with it like they said they would.

Man I would think the same way as you if it weren't for Pac's team saying

-Give us 2 days before the fight
-Give us 5 days before the fight
-Give us 24 days before the fight

They agreed and then disagreed. The inconsistency was ridiculous.

It'd be hilarious to watch those OST guys up in Manny's crib with about 50 other pinoys tho, hehe
