As a American boxing fan, this last 1 1/2 has been kinda rough.

    I have to admit I'm all for the American boxers especially the young talent. Some of favorite fighters of today, Dawson, P Williams, Devon Alexander, Kirkland and know Berto have been defeated. I guess I was so spoiled since I was a little kid from the early 90's till recently. Great fighters like RJJ, Hopkins, SSM, Winky Wright,Floyd, Holyfield and even Zab Judah, Vernon Forrest and Zab Judah had boxing on lock. They were all either dominate or won multiple titles since the early 90's. From 130lbs-200lbs were covered until recently. I have been put back to a sudden reality but I believe most if not all of the young talent will win their titles back soon :happy.

    You right he is a Mexican American , those Mexican colors he wore made me for get. I like him personally even though I believe his title reign will be short lived. Margarito is american if you wanna get technical, lol.

    Not to mention that he is born and raised here. Margarito wasn't even homegrown.
