    Yes S, that is why i posted that Goldman "claimed" 400 bouts...
    P.S. In the 1940s i would see the little gnome Charley Goldman at Stillman's gym quite often before he hit gold as Marciano's trainer...

    Wasn't the last thing Charlie did was try and work with Bonavena? That's the other end of the scale compared to training a guy like Marciano.

    Goldman died in 1968,and his last great champion was Marciano...

    I remember reading that Goldman did try to work with Bonavena and that Bonavena intentionally tripped him.
