As a boxing fan I want something to get in the way of DLH v Mayweather II

Even though its a fight and anything can happen ... I would rather see both guys go their seperate ways ... I don't think that anythings going to change.

DLH is too old and too far into the fight game to make any notable adjustments and at this point in his career no one can help him improve or motivate him any further.

You can work on new stuff all you want, but all that changes once you get hit ... everything you work on is thrown out the window.

When you get tired (as DLH has been accustomed to doing as of late) you revert to what you know best ... and for DLH its nothing technical ... he just throws back very wild and hopes to score ... or he wants to save face and not suffer a KO or stoppage loss and just doesn't throw punches and walks in like a mummy with his hands up.

I think that if something got into the way of things ... and Cotto got past Margarito ... it would be nice to see DLH fight Winky or someone like that ... and to see Cotto face Mayweather ... I don't care about the pre fight hype ... depending on if Cotto loses or not ... all eyes will be on that fight.

    What do you guys think?

Winky is too big and too risky for Oscar. I wouldn't be surprised at all if De La Hoya - Mosley III were made in 2009. A ready-made "revenge" storyline in the wake of the continuing steroid revelations, and a relatively even matchup as far as age and ability.

Mayweather - DLH II is a waste of time for everybody not named Oscar or Floyd.

I must admit i was a bit underwhelmed by this one,but trying to be positive if Oscar change's the fightplan (maybe using his Jab would be a start), and train's for 12 hard rounds there's no reason he can't finish the job this time and finally knock Mayweather of his perch.
Alot of people said the last one was close, i had Mayweather by about 3 points and mostly due to oscar running out of gas. This is surley Oscar's last Big Fight so i hope he goes out in style

i would def rather see Delahoya vs. Wright.

it would be nice to see Oscar go after someone thats more his own size for a change instead of picking on Jr. Welters, a weight class he cant make himself.

You want DLH vs Winky. Don`t you want PBF vs Winky ?
I am 90% sure Winky would defeat both of them.
Why do you want the worse for DLH ?
Regarding PBF vs DLH, don`t be surprised if DLH wins this time since the first
fight was closed maybe two points difference which DLH might adjust just by
    using his jab more frequently.

And yet over a million people will still buy it. It pisses me off when people complain about these shitty fights and then still give into the temptation and buy the PPV when it comes out.

Yes. The Earth demands another de la Hoya loss, so that I can **** with Oscar's fanbase live in Sin City one last time.

Yeah, everyone thinks the same, time wasted in a fight were everyone knows the outcome.
