As a Boxing Fan, which venue do you want PAC-Floyd fight be held?

    Pac/Clottey drew 36k and some change, and did around 6 million in gate. ODLH/PBF at the MGM drew 17k and did 18 million in gate. Not sure how or what case there is to be made, the MGM is "the place" to have this fight. The only other plausible venue would be Madison Square Garden.

    Why the **** should'nt it be in a 40K seater which allows real fight fans a chance to attend whilst the MGM will be full of celebs & high rollers who can afford the scalper prices. I want to fly over for the fight & the only chance of a seat is in the 40K arena you MGM voting wankers:yep

    Revenue is only secondary to fans if not irrelevant at all. The larger number of fans that can be accomodated at the live venue is a big boost to our sport.

    No I'd say Vegas because:

    1. The Casino's have been the sole reason boxing has remained afloat. If not for their contributions, there's no telling where boxing would be, they've floated the money on enough bull****, losing money fights, that they deserve this.

    2. "Vegas is boxing", the entire experience, the pagentry and all that goes into it, is second to none. This entire city was built for events like this, they are the premier entertainment city in the western hemisphere, and that's really not a debate.

    I guess I don't understand why this fight is anymore significant than any of the other "super fights" that have occured over the course of history. How many American fight fans went to Manilla or Zembobwa? How many went to the MGM to see ODLH/PBF? Hell how many went to Dallas to see Manny...36k, hey man I'm all for any of ya'll/us doing what makes you/us happy, but my concern at this point has little to do with the "40k seat arena" and everything to do with the millions waiting to see this fight world wide...myself included.

    The larger number of tickets available could mean that there will be relatively cheaper tickets which is good for the fans.

    The larger number of available tickets will surely be appreciated by the fans. Bigger chance for them to be in the venue live.

    I fully understand that Team PAC agreeing to May 5 at MGM will finally seal the deal but what about if Floyd agrees to a late May date at a bigger venue? It will also finally makes the fight.
