If you can sold out the venue, the bigger the venue the better. Bigger venues is better for the fans. I think PAC vs Floyd fight can even sold out a 80,000-seat stadium.

But that still is not the argument, He thinks he can charge as much for this 40k seat stadium as the MGM. The quality of a temporary stadium cannot equal that of the MGM, therefore the quality of experience for the fans is lower. Bigger venue means more seats but the cost is outside of the price range for an average Joe or fan . . . besides the average fan watches the fight at home or a bar.

In a bigger venue, at least 22,000 more fans will be happy that they saw the fight live. 40,000-seat capacity can be easily sold out even if ticket prices are comparable to that of MGM. Isn't it?

The good part here is you're allowing more fans to see it live.

Why the need to build this piece of **** stadium when there are already venues in place with even higher capacities?

It's just a damn excuse Arum is selling the people, the good thing is that only *******s like yourself are buying into it.

First of all, why didn't you answer my question?

The ones in bold are known *******s. The rest are unknown to me, but I can bet that more than half are indeed your brethren.

so I ask why not just do it now for the fans? May 5th is a goer so lets do it.. Nah I know, for 20,000 or so extra fans lets delay the fight so they can watch it on a tv screen at the back of a huge stadium:nut I mean even building a new stadium is financially counter productive just to cater for a few thousand more fans. It's a flawed business plan and therefore a non starter.

I think you will find most average boxing fans just want this fight asap and all the stadium talk over a few thousand extra seats is going to be seen as over complicating a situation that is already pathetic.

Half of em have less than 200 posts, and like 5 of them have less than 10 posts which smells like alts to me... probably felt inadequate being so outnumbered in votes

You mean you can't figure out why Arum prefer to build a temp arena?

let me see, being a lawyer he knows full well floyd is obligated to do what was agreed in the courts, knows full well by talking about another stadium on any other date than may 5th will create the road block he needs to avoid fighting floyd and continue with his plans. Hence the majority of folk are seeing this as a duck

Floyd is obligated to fight May 5 at MGM but PAC is not. PAC is also not available on that date. Team requested a late May date in a bigger venue for the Floyd fight.

And your point in relation to your thread topic? Your statement on team pacs requests do not represent "a boxing fan" and are in fact contradictory to what the majority of fans would like to see on may 5th.

lets not forget it is common knowledge pac was available may the 5th when mayweather was to be imprisoned which equates to a lie and therefore makes your reasoning redundant.

Bob Arum is a ****ing dick. I'm so sick of all this, can you imagine this happening in any other sport. This is why boxing unfortunately will be unable to keep up with public interest like the UFC.

I'm off to abuse Mr Arum on his twitter page, which he no doubt never looks at because he's such a decrepit old ****.
