But I guess the Williams fight showed us he can be vulnerable. Looking at the Peter fight where he was getting tagged made me think he was good at taking shots. Well, maybe he isn't. Now that I think back... I never remember him taking flush shots. It was surprising to see him KO'd in a fight where he, in a long time in a first time, was showing a lot of movement and even somekind of a jab. Not just standing there when the opponent decided to give his take. I've seen him box a lot of times and and I've seen him live twice now. First time he knocked Levin easily and second time it was some bum from the Baltic not long ago. He BOXED WELL the first 3 rounds. Maybe 5 rounds. But I was surprised how little he had punch resistance. As much as it hurts to say for a fellow finn... HE MIGHT HAVE A GLASS JAW.
I've just seen the stoppage but was a peach of a right had straight through the guard. I don't think Duhaupas is a noted puncher so very bad loss.
His chin is obviously not iron, but he was completely exhausted at the time of the knockout and that was a big factor of him being knocked out imo.
its just that johann is a tough sob. he was taking a beating from wilder but he beat wilder pretty good as well
A shame for big Robert, he really looked a talent before Chisora and could sell tickets in his homeland.
It's not hard to hurt a guy that is that upright/stiff and who doesn't roll with punches whatsoever, especially when he's dead tired. Injuries have obviously robbed him of several previously solid aspects of his game, including his chin. He took plenty of flush shots from Liakhovich, Chisora and Peter. He's obviously a badly degraded fighter.
Why would he need a tissue? Helenius prior to his injury would've beaten Duhaupas from post to post and stopped him. This wasn't Helenius any longer. His injuries were severe and now he's done.
