It was a cheap and a lame way to end a fight that was just starting to get interesting. But cant really blame him .

Mayweather was dominating Ortiz.
Those two cheap shots were completely and utterly unncessary.
He robbed all his fans of a great fight.

Ortiz would have got dirtier as the fight went along. Fight was on, he had his hands down, that is Ortiz' fault. Frankly, Ortiz was looking for a way out of the ring, he did not want to take anymore of that beating.

If Mayweather was getting schooled, resorted to headbutting, and got knocked out when time in was called because he was stupid enough to step back with his guard down, I'd say Ortiz did the right thing along with any other boxer who was in that situation.

Mayweather did nothing wrong, and it's basically only casual fans who thinks he did. People inside of boxing are blaming Ortiz for his dirty tactics and for forgetting the #1 rule in boxing. This is all about peoples' bias and hate for a man they don't know. The evidence for that is how easily they are dismissing the constant intentional fouls by Ortiz throughout the fight and are focusing on a "sucker punch" that really wasn't one at all. Time in was called. You can't "sucker punch" somebody when the fight is live. If Ortiz did not know Mayweather might throw a punch after the fight was resumed, he is an idiot. But I think that has already been established.

Ortiz had no intention of boxing that night. His entire purpose was to "rough Floyd up" and was using his head to do it because his fists were completely ineffective. Personally, I am not interested in watching Ortiz fight again after that shameful display.

 

You have the right to feel however you want. However, I'm not sure why you're pleading with others to share in your opinion. That certainly wasn't a legit KO due to the fact the guy had his hands down and thought it was hugging time. However, it was a legit win. Most agree with this sentiment as they have no desire to see a rematch.
