As a Floyd fan I admit that was a cheap KO.

Finally, some INTELLECTUAL HONESTY... It doesn't mean you're less of Mayweather fan. My respect for you has skyrocketed.

After the Merchant interview, I went to brother in-law who is a big Mayweather fan. He can grating ghetto ******* sometimes. I think thats why he likes Mayweather, because they have that in common. I told him I felt sorry for him, because he's a Mayweather fan. He told me I was crazy and didn't I just see that KO. He said all the EXCUSES Floyd fans are posting, twisting himself into a pretzel. Finally he said why I felt sorry for him.

I told him Mayweather just shitted and robbed you again. You guys waited 16 months for him to come back. Defend his antics. Defend his bull**** on the internet. He was winning the fight. What Ortiz was wrong of that there's no doubt. Mayweather hit a man that was completely defenseless. So now you're going to have to defend this crap as well. I feel sorry for you. He didn't get it then, but he did after a majority of the crowd chimed in with what they thought. :hey:smoke

 

Mayweather didn't rob me at all. Victor got what he deserved bottom line, he brought that upon himself by using his head while he had Floyd on the ropes.

There's a cause and effect. Don't start none it won't be none. Floyd did the right thing.... knock the fool out as soon as the ref says "fight".

 

i was pretty disgusted after seeing that fight. Thank god i saw it in the movie theater for 18$ instead of buying the whole ppv for 70. Floyd pulled a judas, what bothered me was that it seemed so premeditated. the fake handshake and when ortiz was most vunerable two shots to an unexpecting fighter. Mayweather act like a spoiled brat and even though i am not a big larry merchant fan (i even stated during the undercard that he should be fired) but getting in an old mans face like he was sugar shane mosley at the weigh in was completley uncalled for. props to merchant for firing back that was too funny. I think ortiz is a dirty ******* as well. boxing's back is broken and this was not the kind of attention it needed As a customer and a student of boxing i felt lousy after floyds cheap performance. I hope pac breaks his teeth

How was it cheap ? Victor made the fight what it was with his illegal tactics. I am disappointed it ended that way but what should FLoyd do let Ortiz maim him in there with intentional butts. That just happened to be the only one that connected.
I would have rather see a clean knock out but I wouldn't fault any fighter for doing what Floyd did.
