as a floyd fan, id say he was looking about 50-60 percent tonight

Agreed . I was yelling at my screen for the first 5 rounds. He seemed to willingly go on the ropes at times. Now Im not taking anything away from Maidana, but the truth is Chino didnt land on Floyd the way he landed on Broner. Once Floyd got into a rhythm, I cant remember which round it was, but there was a really good Floyd round where Floyd was just timing him and punishing him. And I thought to myself like "okay here comes the wash" but then in the 12th round, he went right back to the ropes. And the most telling thing to me. Honestly. I thought Floyd was thinking he took the L. I mean when do you ever see Floyd have to raise his hand right after the bell? NEVER. He normally walks away and it ends there because he knows whats up. He looked genuinely concerned tonight. Now it could be a lot of things. Age, Stress. All that **** with the abortion could have actually been legit and on his mind. But we dont know. We have to see how he does in September. There are a lot of variables that could have effected this fight. But overall I think he looked alright. Nothing great. His reflexes were good. Hand speed was good. But we're not used to just good with him, so it sort of looks like the end of an era coming soon. IF he looks the same in September.

That's the thing about Compubox/Showstat or whatever Punchstat numbers...they should always be taken with a grain of salt.

100 percent? Hardly, Floyd definitely seemed off.

I agree that Maidana should have been allowed to wear Everlast gloves but not the commissioned pair with virtually no padding.

I didn't think Tony Weeks was especially effective in the fight. Maidana was able to slip by a lot of dirty tactics, including repeated use of his head, punching on the back of the head, wrestling through the ropes and even an attempted knee to the face in one round.

There was no 'home cooking'. 7 rounds to 5 for an 'off' Mayweather. A rematch would likely be a shut out.

    madona kept rushing him.

pedjr only looked good boxing in the center of the ring when he can set his feet.

you rush him , he gets defensive and look for the ropes.

madona, as expexted, tired in the latter rounds.

this is easy decision for pac.

    no featherfisted gonna beat pac.:good

Well just because Mayweather struggled against a 1 dimensional and flat footed fighter in maidana, does not mean he wasn't 100%, it just means he has trouble with pressure fighters.
