As a GGG fan I think his offer to Ward for a 164 catchweight is ridiculous

I just assumed the OP read the article 2 days ago when everyone else did:rofl
That's what I get for thinking people actually try to keep up with what's going on.:nut

Thanks. Obviously Ward can't make 164 so I hope that the offer is just the beginning of the negotiations. What is important is actually if Ward will be able to make 168. If he can't there is no point discussing this fight. I think that Golovkin people realize that Ward will have too much skill and size at 168 they are not delusional. A fight at 166 might be fair.

But look when you say that Golovkin was willing to fight Froch at 168. Well guess what Ward was also ready to fight Froch without a tune up but needs at least two of them for Golovkin or Kovalev. Teams will protect their fighters and look for their best.

P.S. I didn't think that Ward looked great against Smith. Everyone was impressed but the dude was a punching bag and I felt like Ward has slowed down a bit.

Yes, what I'm saying is GGG should fight a couple of tune ups if he goes to 168 before he fights Ward. It wouldn't be a fair fight, nor will it be as interesting if he just jumps up. :good

I think this offer was basically a **** you to ward though, I dont really think they have any intentions of making the fight, unless Ward is severely handicapped. Golovkin wants the fight, but I dont think his team does.

It's just posturing, imo. No one is dumb enough to think Ward would accept that weight. I don't think Ward would accept 50/50 at any weight.
James Prince also said last year that 50/50 would be a deal breaker.
Loeffler knows Ward is fighting tune ups right now.
Loeffler and Itskowich have both said that the time is not right for the fight right now.
I've seen at least 2 interviews where Abel Sanchez says he doesn't like catchweights and they would fight Ward at 168.
It's just a dumb thing for Loeffler to say. GGG has done well enough up to this point without some kind of "diva" persona. Not sure why Loeffler would go that route.

Good post Perez Hilton, 100% agree with everything you said. There was no point of Loeffler making that statement other than saying **** you to the people who want to see the fight, and Ward. Some casuals will think that Ward is ducking if he doesnt accept these offers too.

You know, you can just follow B'Scene on twitter if you don't like taking 2 or 3 seconds to type words in a search bar or bookmark a website on your internet browser.
They tweet links to their articles and all you have to do is click the link and it takes you to the website.:rofl
Is this your first day on the internet?

I'm not on gossiping nancy on twitter like you :lol:. The only social media I use is facebook, and I check the scene time to time. I rely on peoples posts on facebook, or posts here far more.

I dont look at posts from people I dont know, only people I actually know. Unlike you I use social media with actual friends and family. You seem to use it to communicate with complete strangers , the lack of friends might be the reason for that.

I never said I was, but I don't spend my life on social media sites following people around, and tweeting/conversing with complete strangers like you . I'd bet I have far more friends than you on facebook though, not that that's an accomplishment at all, I'm sure 99% of the forum does too. You seem to be the guy with like 20 friends .
