    lose to Vitali Klitschko.

I will be rooting for him bigtime but... his conditioning and lack of progress in a few key skill traits leads me to believe that if Vitali is healthy, Sam will not win this fight.

I hope I am wrong and perhaps he gets in much better shape in the last 30 days but, I don't see that happening.

Just trying to be a realist... and a good fan, that's all. :deal

If he comes in terrible shape as the video suggested then he's getting KO'd early, can't disagree there. However, I believe he will come in far better shape and will be able to give Vitali a tough fight. Vitali's situation can't be ignored either regardless how fit he is for this fight.

Peter has faced one elite fighter and he lost every round but 3. He was then fed a couple of bums to get his confidence back and then allowed to fight a fat Middleweight. Then he was given Glass Jaw Maskaev on a platter so he could win a belt. It looks like Peter might come in at a career high against Klitschko which would be a very bad decision.

Yup. Peter has definitely hit the high-water mark for his career. It's downhill from here. His confidence and career will be shattered after Vitali knocks his block off. His name and reputation may earn him another title shot down the line, but unless there is another very weak HW champ to exploit, he has likely held a title for the very last time.

Peter is in his prime and ready for all challenges, Vitali even at 37 and rusty, would be a tough test for any of these current Heavyweights. I honestly believe Peter will come out the gates looking to land a big shot on Vitali early, seeing he hasnt felt Heavyweight power since Nov or Dec of 04 against Williams. It will be a war folks, and the tougher, bigger hitter, will win, that mans name is Samuel Peter.

As a Sam Peter fan I have full confidence he will be the third man to put Vitlay on the overrated block.

And the haters will be out in full force saying Vitlay was off for years, injured, etc etc, blah blah blah.

That video tells us nothing. He isn't working on endurance there he is working on timing. Sammy's jab will be a surprising factor in this fight. No different than it was against McCline.

The excuses will always be ther, can't do anything about them even if Vitali wins. Just hoping to see a good fight with a fair result. Both of us share the same prediction here so best of luck.

    Same to you Scar.

I'll throw these noobs another bone while we are at it.

Keep in mind here how McCline differs from Vitlay. McCline, unlike Vitlay, will move forward to absorb punches. Vitlay leans back. When Sam Peter steps into that jab and throws a right hand behind it what do you think is going to happen?

What will happen when Sammy steps into a leaping left hook? I don't think I need to tell you what will happen next. That style Vitlay has? Says bullseye all over it.

You are ignoring the height and reach difference between Vitali and Peter.

I damn sure hope Sam wins this fight.

The Heavyweights are already in bad shape - so if Klits wins the fight - there will be even more confusion in the division. I think he should have stayed retired - know I want Sam to put him back into retirement.

Oh I know that very well, Vitali is nothing like McCline. You must remember another thing man, Vitali's main two injuries came FROM his back and knee so even if he tries to apply that he won't be able to keep it up in my opinion. Don't forget that when you pressure Vitali and force him to remain active he will tire early(will only be worse after a 4 year lay-off) and if Peter can handle his shots then he has Vitali seriously tired at the 5th or 6th.

Height means nothing if you don't know how to use it. Ask Waldo what happened when he pulled straight back on Sam.

Nevermind I'll tell you. He ate a huge left hook.

Vitali and Wlad fight totally different. If Peter was a puncher he should have been able to KO Wlad. Saying Vitali does not know how to use his height might be one of the most idiotic thing(s) I have seen posted on here. Vitali is not McCline he is much better.

I suspect that as you say. He won't be pulling back as much as he used to. Probably more trying to hold and hit like Waldo did. But I think Sammy will be prepared for it.

If that Vitlay shows up though, the one that does that herky jerky pull back after a right hand he will be painted with jabs and right hands all night.
