As a GOOD Sam Peter fan, I am predicting that he will....

Vitlay doesn't know how to use his height. He has alot of it but he still manages to get hit alot. And as far as him being better than McCline that is another misnomer. He proved little in his career to say he was any better than McCline. Different, not better.

 

I'll be very surprised if he applies the hold and hit tactic, if he does it could be dangerous for Peter for as long as it lasts but I still see Vitali tiring late and eating a lot of punches regardless of what style he applies.

Expect to see the pull back style, don't think Vitali will apply another, he spent his entire career fighting that style. Just hoping to see Peter be able to handle his power early because both of us know that Vitali is going to land and land big early.

 

Scar I will go as far to say if Vitali tries to use the hold and hit style against Peter I think he would lose. Vitali is not suited for a style like that.

 

Byrd managed to hit Vitlay and he isn't a big guy. Lewis just had to flick his jab and he managed to cut Vitlay up. Sanders wasn't even trying to be aggressive against Vitlay. He sat on the ropes all night waiting for Vitlay to give up his height (which he did numerous times).

Keep in mind too the conditions of these opponents. Johnson was a 260lb tub of lard (his career average was closer to 230), Sanders was a part time golfer and Williams had no footwork whatsoever nor did he have balance. He was flopping all over the ring. Surely you are not trying to compare these guys to a prime Sam Peter, are you?

Vitlay also never won a big fight in his whole career. Are you denying this?

We all know what happened when Rahman hit Lewis with two clean right hands. Night night. Vitlay hit Lewis with numerous right hands and didn't drop him.

That's true man but I'm a bit worried after his knockdowns against McCline, maybe the insane amount of punches he absorbed against Wladimir softened up his ability to take a punch. That happens in boxing as you know and is normal/typical, that's the only thing I'm worried about in this fight.

Don't worry about it. I believe that he did have a ruptured eardrum. Plus those punches from McCline were freaking huge punches. I firmly believe that right hand on the second knockdown would have knocked out most heavyweights in history. Sam got up and went on to take more hard, flush punches without going down. His chin is the real deal.

Maskaev also is not a light puncher. He has dynamite in that right hand. Didn't even make Sam flinch. Vitlay is gonna find out come october 11th. He is stepping up to the big time all over again.

 

I asked you if McCline was a harder puncher than Wlad. Wlad knocked Byrd down four times in two fights. Wlad knocked Brock out. Why did you bring up Vitali?

 

You don't lose your punching power as you get older, and this is Sam Peter's demise. He cannot take a punch, as evident from the fight with McCline. He was even shaken up by Maskaev.

Anyone thinking Scam can hit Vitali with those idiotic looping cheating behind the head rabbit punches, please. Vitali will have no problem avoiding that crap.

Vitali > Peter at any stage of his career.

I'll repeat this, Sam couldn't hurt a fat middleweight and couldn't hurt average chinned McCline.

He's not hurting Vitali.
