Also, some people literally get nervous or psyched out of they don't have their equipment we're it should be exactly, or haven't done a certain pre ritual.

Really that superstitious? That can't be good for the confidence?

    Yeah I've seen it once.

Apparently Pacquiao is also very superstitious.

The grind of the day in and day out running, calisthenics and SPARRING. Some days a world class fighter can look very average in the gym due to sickness, fight with the girlfriend, manager, distractions etc. The good ones seem to block out all the distractions and really dial it in as the fight gets closer. Then you start to see the difference between world class and very good fighters is not that far apart, but far apart enough that the world class fighter's top form is a level two above the very good ones. Moodiness and overall demeanour change closer to the fight as the fighter is dealing with all kinds of stressors while trying to stay on point.

How much fun it is to get hit by a good, clean shot. I end up smiling alot when someone lands a counter or a huge overhand right on me, the feeling is way better than a half assed arm punch

The noise a landed shot from a heavyweight sounds. Sometimes you can hear it from the TV but in person they are extremely cringeworthy loud.

    Why do you like it?
And do you think many do?
Even if they lose or get knocked out?

I assume anyone who loves boxing and fighting as a whole must like it? I dunno why I like it TBH, ive always loved every aspect of fighting, from the training to destroying someone to feeling a dull pain in your head after alot of rounds. I dunno about being knocked out, I've never had that experience of "the lights turning off" nor anything even similar to it, so I can't say. I assume it's not a pleasant experience, especially when you wake up and thing "oh I lost"

The swollen knuckles, fractures, wrist kinks, what punching an elbow feels like. How much better you feel after you throw up and get back in there.
