Is it any worse than Marriaga may not be elite but it's a solid opponent considering little Floyd doesn't want "Tank" to even be in the same room as Lomo, Rigo doesn't really want it and it seems the other fighters don't want it.

But Lomachenko looks to fight the best and when the opponents fail he moves on too bigger challenges, something Rigo needs to think about.

I'd have to excuse Team Lomachenko this time around for not taking Rigondeaux seriously because Rigo ducked Loma before, and if Rigo was truly serious, did he actually contact Top Rank to make the fight? They know how it works, you have to go via promoters, not via twitter.

Can you imagine if GGG wanted to fight Ward, agreed to the money, the weight etc. and then he bounced out last minute and said he wanted the fight at 164lbs?

This latest Salido duck is going to backfire on him. If he does get the Davis fight then he will not get anywhere near the 720K he was offered for the Loma rematch and he is not beating Davis on a FMJ card. This will make him unattractive for another Loma fight and he will more than likely start getting buried on undercards even if the Davis fight does not happen.

Arum is going to bury this guy for balking at that Loma rematch payday.

 

The only reason this is a disappointing fight is because Loma is just that damn good. Marriaga is actually a solid fighter.
