As a Margarito fan I should keep this to myself

However, as a fight fan I will point something out that just popped into my brain, after the Clottey fight, and I hate to point it out cus its just speculation, Tony was also showing his injuries from that fight, however one of his Knuckles seemed to have the skin torn off of it, this is odd and rare cus that doesnt usally happen in boxing unless there was something in the wraps:think

 

it is rare, you only get that kind of skin rip if your using the wraps say from a sporting store, the gauze are soft, I mean almost spungey if you would, in my opinion its hard to rip your skin like that, however this doesnt mean that it couldnt have happend, the gauze could have been lose, and they could have rubbed the glove, kinda like your heal with a shoe, causing the skin to rip, but its something that I just thought of and as I said I should keep it to myself.atsch

Exactly, or when you just try and ****ing hit the bag with Wraps only you will rip skin, but Freddy makes a point as well the tape can also cut, However I dispute that simply becuase Tape is not supposed to be on the Knuckle its supposed to be about a inch off the Knuckle, and how would the tape find its way under all the knuckle padding down to the skin.

Perhaps I am looking into this a bit too much, but it was an honest observation that came to mind when I read the article at ESPN.com, its kind of hard to not notice the rip in the skin on the Knuckle of Margaritos hand when he was telling Jim Grey on Showtime he had a wrist injury he was pointing to the his hand and it was clear as a bell.
