    did you post footage of that up here at ESB? your boy also spanked Marg in that footage , I gave him that round if I recall.

    That body shot is a small victory though...

    you can rip your kunckles skin even with proper wraps and gloves if you are not punching properly.

    But the gloves for the Heavy bag are not the same as the extra padded boxing gloves.

    Fool? At my boxing club we dont wear boxing gloves on the heavybag.

    Wait you arent talking about a bag in your garage are you :patsch?

    at the boxing gym and my garage!!!! we dont give the bag lil pats and slaps we pound the s#!t out of it, so yeah.... we do use all the potection we can.:smoke

    I'm not protecting Margarito or claiming he didn't use anything illegal, but I've had skin tore off my knuckles using just hand wraps.

    Exactly and they probably were not the required wraps for a fight, probably the ones you get from a sporting goods store, and if you just used wraps alone that explains it, had you some gloves on and your hands wrapped correctly you shouldnt have that happening.

    The required ammount of gauze and tape on a amateur fighter is 15 yards of gauze 2 yards of tape 1 inch off the Knuckle not sure if there is a difference in the pros, However when you have those wraps on they are much softer than the ones you buy from the store that you can re use meaning there shouldnt be any tear in the skin.

    Especially no the top of your Knuckle so that means something was rubbing the skin, it is possible that the wrap was not tight enough and it rubbed during the fight causing the skin to tear a bit, However Margarito loves that Mexican style of wrap and those usally consist of a very tight wrap.

    it is possible that the wrap was lose though, However with a glove on I still doubt it would do that, unless there was something else there, I dont like to say this nor point it out, but its just an observation I made when this issue came about, What I can say is that its possible this also happend in the gym
