He said he would look to 'outperform' Mayweather against Guerrero and he did. Won by a wider margin and scored a kd.

Although, Guerrero seemed less determined and fierce than he has done in recent years, kind of reluctant... but to be fair, Thurman's power likely had something to do with that.

He did not win by a wider margin. Floyd shut Robert out 12-0 easy. keith had a competitive fight with him. his power was the difference.

Keith has no chance against Floyd. For one he would not be able to hit floyd with those wide shots. 2. His wide stance would get him countered all day long.

He only has a punchers chance, just like everyone else. There is levels to this. It is like people don't get it. Even Pac would rock Thurmans world. He is not on their level. YET.

i want to see him in with a fighter who is known for their boxing ability before i make judgement, a proven elite like a tim bradley would be an excellent test, as of now looking at thurman im honestly impressed sure but i dont think he has what it takes to take down a floyd or a pacquiao

I don't know about that. That KD wasn't from a solid hard shot. It was more of a glancing blow that caught Guerrero off balance. Thurman's got a promising future but nothing he did last night makes me believe he'd beat Floyd. He is very hittable. If Guerrero had a little more power on his punches that fight would have definitely been more competitive. Plus Thurman has to work on his in fighting.

Mayweather won 117-111 on all official cards, and according to punch stats, landed less and got hit (marginally) more. Which doesn't mean that i think Thurman would beat Mayweather, but it's something worth acknowledging.

No way did Thurman outperform Mayweater. Mayweather also fought Guererro at his peak. Thurman waved his chin in the air, looked like **** against the ropes, and lost the last two rounds.

Floyd would again be the bigger man. Dont like the fight at all.

Its a fight I could actually see Floyd winning by stoppage. Thurman seems to get a bit banged up in fights where he doesnt get hit, against Floyd I can see him being cut up quite severely.

These things can happen. Styles make fights, triangle theories don't work.

No man Mayweather looked way more in control against Guerrero. Thurman got tagged several times and got roughed up a lot on the inside when Guerrero actually made it to the inside. That does not a superior performance make.

Thurman has more power. Yes. No one is going to despite that. But strip away the Power and what you are left with is an inferior boxer.

thurman is good but as he has fought better fighters, he has not being as impressive. Obvioulsy, he was till great vs his last two but i want to see him vs Khan or Bradley or JMM. I think Bradley edges him out due to his defense and technical abilities.

Yes, it was 'competitive' but the Ghost never challenged the outcome, ha made it interesting... As I was watching the fight, I was thinking that One Time has the speed and style to give either Manny or PBF hell of a battle, with a chance to win...

No way did Thurman lose round 11 or 12 I had him losing 3 and 10 that's it. He clearly did beat Guerrero worse than Mayweather did, this does not mean he's better or would beat Mayweather but he clearly did beat him better.
