He outright won this fight against the 140lb no1 fighter, a boxer who is adept at boxing southpaws. Bradley did nick about 4 rounds but he gave up trying to win after the first few rounds and I thought he was going to get ko'd after the early rounds where he was not just wobbly but exhausted

    Things that impressed me:

    1. When Bradley tried to use the Marquez gameplan and counter punch and use angles Pac still managed to get his shots off

    2. Exchanges, we know you don't want to exchange with Pacquaio but if Bradley landed 1 punch Pac would land a much better punch

    3. He made a very good, quick, technically solid fighter look very ordinary tonight

    4. That straight left is so good, it has to be the best straight left ever and up there with the best backhands ever, I've always said that mind you

Good win, even if he lost, this adds to his legacy and a great bounce back from the Marquez fight

    Good post.

But for me even though Pac looked all right.

He hasnt look like the Pac of a couple of years ago.

The wrecking machine that would go hard for twelve rounds.

That Pac would go after Bradley throwing punches non stop till he got Bradley out of there.

The Pac of today only fights in spurts and spends too much time thinking.

I liked him better when he fought more and thought less.

Bradley didn't have the tools to pull off Marquez gameplan, didn't really have the patience, feinting ability, straight right....

Age.. Pac's style is based on physical gifts, I don't think he is able to go that hard for 12 rds anymore. Probably he's trying to adjust to his slow physical decline, to get more measured, what else he can do...

Pacquaio has faced different styles in his last 3. Men who want to use lateral movement, ie circle/run, counter punch and not exchange. You can't constantly fight in this scenario

Manny has evolved from a 3 min boxer to a 1 min boxer, he is declining really.

I am on board with you....I thought he looked great. And this has been my whole criticism. A quality win versus a fighter with some ability and not some aging, way past their prime, stiff-ass, slow-mving easy to hit target. That's all I wanted to see. And Pacquiao passed the test with flying colors. Just too bad Arum had to **** it up!!!!

  11. Nah... I thought Bradley performed much better against Pacquiao than Marquez did. Fact

He mixed it there with Pac like a real man. Like what Floyd did to Cotto. Fact

Yes he ran a bit when he felt Pacquiao's power but did not rely on backpedalling and just counter-punching like Marquez. Fact

Bradley is a warrior and is the future of boxing. Fact

Bradley has done a good job dealing with Pacquiao. And what a tremendous conditioning he got. That goes naturally with being young.

I like how after Pacquiao fires up his counter combination shots Bradley will then have his own combinations. Save for the dodgy decision it was a very good fight overall.
