    True, I pull for the guy to do well in the cage. However his continous evolution as a fighter means there is usually something new for me to look out for i.e. striking, wrestling etc

    Interesting....

    I actually watched that season TUF 8: Team Nogueira vs. Team Mir, and it was the last season I ever watched.

    Junie was a disgrace.

    Mir has a very logical take on that season which he and nogueira coached, mir is an intelligent guy and I respect his opinion. As a fan of MMA, I think The Ultimate Fighter dose as Mir stated create "misunderstandings" of MMA fighters or even fighters in general. The fact that they keep the occupants of the TUF house with no contact to family or friends and give them the a stockpile of alcohol, its obvious that they want conflict and drama, the producers of that show basically want the contestants to act like morons for rating purposes- anyone could see that.

    I will never watch TUF again after watching season 8.

    Also I like Mir for speaking his mind on this issue.
