As an Abraham fan, I'm worried about the Taylor fight....

I think Taylor has the tools to beat AA,Most people are assuming Taylor will gas and then be taken out late in the fight.I don't see AA forcing the fight so Taylor will be able to win rounds with only moderate output.Others believe AA will be stronger/harder hitting at 168,but he may also be slower and have only average power at the higher weight.Apart from that i agree with everything else you've said.Good post :good

I wouldn't put a significant wager on this fight one way or the other. Just way to uncertain.

The thing is, I think Taylor has slipped. The JT from the two BHop fights would make AA look like a fool, but I think there is a very good chance that Pavlik and Froch ruined him. How many fighters could do 19 rounds with Pavlik and 11 and 9/10 rounds with Froch, and not lose something?

I never said this is the top 6, my reply was to your post and you pointing out these are not the best SMWs(obviously excluding aa) available. Other then Bute, I think this is as good a list as one can compile. Agree or not? Another thing that I question, is why MOSTLY pavlik fans think this is a sauerland conspiracy towards an eventual showdown with aa vs kess, when I, as an hardcore aa fan think arthur might lose all 3 of his fights. I could care less if he does or not, I am not a bandwagon type of guy, but to assume this tournament is made to showcasw arthur and kessler is ludicrous.

Absolutely, but if i HAD to pick a winner i'd have to side with Taylor.

There is a difference between "a conspiracy," and a smart promoter doing his job well.

It's funny how people are writing Taylor off already, the man is still a great fighter. If Abraham wins, it will because he was the better fighter that night, and I will give props to him. Taylor knows that this tournament is his chance to reclaim some of his former glory and to erase the demons of his late fight meltdowns against Pavlik and Froch. I expect a good fight, that will probably heat up somewhere around round 5 or 6, and we will find out if Taylor still has it and/or if Abraham is truly among the elite.

AA will KO Taylor. Taylor got no stamina and I don't trust his chin anymore.

I don't see Kessler being technically better than AA in any department. You might not think AA is the most skilled, but I do. AA will ko Kessler if they fight. Kessler is too soft to the body, and is open at times, and a bit stiff.

I don't even know why you even listen to Brad. His favorite fighter practically ducked AA, and Brad is happy Pav is fighting Williams lol... I hope PW kicks Pav's ass lol...

JT is going to come out very cautious using the jab, while AA will patiently scout JT. Once the scouting is over, AA will slowly come forward. When JT opens up and stops to rest, he will be punished every time he does this. AA is not a head hunter. He is a very good body puncher, and will sap JT's strength, and slowly break him down. JT might have some successs early. He wings his shots, has some speed, and has a decent jab. JT just can't keep it up for 12. If JT had learned to fight inside, he'd probably have beaten Pav and Froch. People have this image of small AA and big jabbing JT lol... Sorry, but this fight is over before it began. You have to be able to fight AA on the inside, or keep up the heat for 12 like Roy jones used to do in his prime to beat AA.

JT should win some early rounds, but I do expect Abraham to turn it up around round 4. JT isn't as terrible as some think, but I do believe AA is better them most think. His defense is great, he has power, and when he lets his hand go he's very dangerous.
