Again where I live in Phoenix Arizona, our weather is 100x better than London. 100x..today is 83 degrees farenheit and Im about to go on a motorcycle ride with just my jersey and a helmet. Dont even need a jacket.

You cannot generalize the weather across the USA our country is too vast for that! I could ride across your country easily in a few hours.

Fast is its only us brits who travel anywhere in big numbers, far more passionate, look at the atmosphere at Calzaghe Lacy and Hatton Tszyu.

Been to US 4 times and it was freezing last december for Mayweather Hatton, decent enough first time i was in Vegas, pissed down in NY and was -15C in Chicago.

I guess the bigger question is where would you rather spend a weekend if your traveling? In vegas or in manchester.

yo i have numerous friends from the uk and south africa and none of them talk about rugby or cricket.... the only sport any one ever talks about or even really loves is soccer....

i dont care what you say because if people from outside america are noted as saying sports in america are extremely important to our society and unlike anywhere in the world .... its a fact

As a New Yorker, I wouldn't travel to Madison Square Garden. For no other reason than $$$. It's too damn expensive to go to the fights these days. For my girl and I to go into the city to see a fight you're talking a minimum of $700. I can't justify that when I have a better time watching on the big screen at home with some friends, beers and snacks for $50.

Im pretty certain 'soccer' is more ingrained in British culture and life than any US sport is in america! Infact I know!

I guarantee you that Rugby (South Africa, World Champions 2008) and cricket are way more important to South Africans than soccer (football). Thats not the case in the UK where football is more important, although Rugby & cricket are still very popular.
