It is easy enough to create a list that caters to boxing!

training patterns is total BS argument . . . it is not like they are performing surgery during camp. it is only a couple drops of blood and if they implement it on a wider scale they could set up a system that is more quick and efficient. the early stages of anything is always gonna be a little choppy but over time you can smooth things out

if you enforce stricter testing for "big fights" it will discourage the up and comers from using it, especially if you get caught testing you forfeit your purse and risk getting banned or a long suspension (for you and your trainer, manager and promoter) once they get to that point. If you do it at the top, while not ideal (like Obamacare), it is a lot better than what currently in place and could do a lot of good.

After reading this thread some good points have been made. The current drug testing in boxing is a JOKE. Its totally useless as the fighters know when they're being tested and have plenty of notice so as the make sure they're clean and gonna produce a negative test even if they are juicing. That situation we have now is in need of change of we want boxing to be a drug free clean sport. I think amongst the bigger weight classes that they are pretty common in their usage. Of course I may be wrong. We only hear of the few stupid/fat ones that get caught out.

For title fights were it is worthwhile its a good move to do olympic style random testing. For smaller fights maybe something better than the current testing is needed.

    :rofl:rofl:rofl i liked that

I just think its better to out cheats at the beginning of their career rather than waiting until they make it big. Then you have to attempt to carry it out worldwide, something which may course problems for African fighters for example. Dont get me wrong i agree that cheating should be ousted, weather its PEDs, hand wraps etc. but until theres a practical way of bringing it about to the lowest levels it should not be done.

Its like goal-line technology in UK football, every1 wants it brought in, but its harder to implement it at the lower levels of the game so it cannot be brought in as its unfair only to cover the top league. Sam thing with boxing IMO

Yes. Boxing is lagging behind other sports in that area.
