    A clear win for Mijares. Mijares is way better than Gorres w/c gave Vic a lot of trouble.

    not really. i was too lazy to explain about a month ago but i feel that vic did improve tremendously since his KO loss to donaire. :D

    i was really impressed by his set of wins in the gorres (draw but a win in my book) and kirilov fights.

    Strange, because most people weren't impressed by his performance against Gorres at all...:huh

    I didn't see his fight against Kirilov, though.:good

    gorres is a good fighter. a bit underrated coz he doesn't fight much in the states. he has a win, imo, over montiel. gorres did knock him down but vic returned the favor two times. others could make a case that it was more than 2 since gorres is always slipping. i was impressed with the recovery he shown and coming strong during late rounds.

    but this isn't a big pick since i realized yesterday that a handful of people are giving vic a great chance on this one.

    From what I've seen so far, you're very different from "usual" Pac fans, your posts are well-thought and justified, even if one doesn't agree with you.

    I'm also a big Cotto fan btw, I hope he comes back strong. :D

    Absolutely stunning performance by Vic Darchinyan. For me, it's the year's best. People expected Margarito to put up a fight, Hopkins to try and make it a boxing match, Campbell to slug it with Diaz.

    But Darchinyan did not simply knock out P4P Mijares... he outsmarted, outskilled, outfought, dominated him, showed very good defence, delivered the awkward power punches and simply kept every single promise: he punished Mijares, silenced his crowd (and 'experts') and knocked the Mexican out in brutal fashion.

    WOW!
