Froch was a champion before the super six. He chose to defend his title abroad to Taylor his mandatory in America. Taylor didn't want the fight to go to purse bids. If he had lost he wouldn't have fought in UK, so Froch accepted the offer to have his first defence abroad as he wanted the fight.

It was upto Froch to enter the super six - not like he was forced. He could have kept defending his belt in Nottingham. Do you really believe ****** would have allowed Calzaghe to enter the super six? If Froch chose not to enter the super six, it probably wouldn't have happened with only Kessler's WBA. Froch was the champion and yet still agreed to fight Kessler in Herning, Denmark... etc etc

No need to bring any relevance to football whatsoever.

Froch was WBC mandatory, but Calzaghe decided to vacate before purse bids. Entering purse bids shows who wants the fights. Why would Froch take a bum deal with options on his future fights with ****** when he could become the mandatory. Also, look at where Woodhall and Eubank were in their careers when those fights happened - they weren't exactly highly anticipated.

He might be a bum, but he KO'd Andy Lee and would have a good chance of steam-rolling the other Brit middleweights. Beating him would also set up the Ward rematch nicely.

I see why you'd say the referee he does get away with shxt but judges? They had Ward winning 115-113 when Froch won 2 rounds max, good try though

This. The almighty economic interests of both Sky and Matchroom point firmly at a Groves rematch.

Yes Ben.I agree Steiglitz would be a good option. But it would have to be in Germany,I suppose.Be more confidnt if it was on neutral ground like Barker/Geale.Plus not accusing you of this but I reckon some people underestimate him.Seems to be a young ambitious kid, usually with the benefit of home ground behind him.Dont agree with you on Chavez.A few years ago I think Froch would have been too experienced and too good. Now its a better, closer fight IMO.
Agree on Boxnation.Nothing wrong with it for me.He doesn't really seem to be getting any favours from the other lot.

i would love to see Ward knock Froch out but it would be even funnier if golokovin done it especially as Froch slated him on ringside

Chavez Jr is the only fight they want. Them mentioning Ward is just a cover.

Groves deserves to fight for another title soon but even though he got lucky (froch) he deserves to fight who he wants he ( luckily ) is still the champ and with only 2 fights possibly 1 left I can understand the chance to fight in vegas before the end of his career is a greater pull than fight groves and possibly lose. Would love to see a rematch but I don't think we ever will and in all honestly its got a lot to live up too. Rematches are rarely as good unless of course we are talking ward - gatti!

    Why?

It is only a fight, and he can clearly put a rematch clause in there somewhere.

Or can he not stand the fact that a fellow brit beat him, and will beat him again and again and....

His legacy will state, that he was an above average fighter, who professed to be great, and would fight ANYBODY, and refused to FIGHT somebody who posed a threat to him.

    Hardly a warrior....

More like a bully, who bullies older men, and some kids, but he could not bully one kid SGG.

Pure bully, and yes indeed a coward.
